When Cullen contacted me saying that he was ready to pop the question and needed my help to pull it off, my heart melted. I couldn't believe this kid that I watched grow up, captured his senior portraits, and watched get thrown out of my best friend's room all these years was ready to ask the love of his life to marry him.
When the weather didn't look like it would cooperate, we quickly came up with a plan B because Cullen couldn't possibly wait one more day.
These two love birds met in college. They actually met a year before they started hanging out or dating. Megan happened to wonder into a friend's dorm room for science homework help, and as luck would have it, her future love would be there to save the day.
Cullen had convinced Megan that he was gifting her with graduation photos for her college graduation. These two love birds met at West Virginia Wesleyan so it wasn't too far fetched. While Cullen had already graduated, Megan had just a few more months left to receive her degree in education before she began teaching the future of West Virginia.
Since the weather didn't want to cooperate, we reached out to the wonderful folks at Miller's Greenhouses in Smithfield, PA and they graciously agreed to let us use their greenhouses. It was a bit early in the season so they were worried that they wouldn't be green enough, but they worked out perfectly.
Megan and I got to work on her "graduation photos" before I led Cullen and Megan to the greenhouse I had scoped out for him to pop the question. If Megan knew what was coming, she definitely hid it well. Not only did Cullen do a FANTASTIC job on her gorgeous ring, but he made sure her parents were along to watch their little girl say yes.
Now that Megan said yes, you can find these two and her gorgeous ring at a number of local breweries enjoying each other's company most likely before or after a hike.
Big thank you to Miller's Greenhouse for saving the day!
